Douglas Royal beat Ramsey 10-0 on Sunday to close the gap on neighbours and MBL Women's Division rivals Corinthians to a single point.

Four goals from Donna Shimmin helped Royal to victory.

Gymnasium kept their faint championship hopes alive with a 3-0 win over second bottom Colby at Tromode.

Meanwhile, rock-bottom Douglas High School Old Boys fell to their eleventh straight defeat, losing 12-0 at sixth place Peel.

Elsewhere, Castletown strengthened their grip on fifth with a 7-1 victory over Laxey.
