York City boss Martin Foyle plots one more signing
Foyle took York to last season's Blue Square Premier play-off final
York City manager Martin Foyle says he is only one player short of completing his squad.
Foyle has been bringing in players throughout the summer with the latest one being Peter Till from Walsall.
Foyle told BBC Radio York: "I think I'd like to take one more wide player who can play up front.
"I had a good look at what we need and we're nearly there but I'll have one or two trialists in with an option of one place to look for."
Meanwhile Foyle said he is expecting good things from former Football League winger Till.
"His pedigree is very good," he said.
"He was involved in 30 games for a League One side so I think one or two people will be shocked but I think that's the way football is at the moment. Players are starting to panic.
"I'm good friends with his agent so it was a deal I'd been trying to do.
"I can see him being here on the touchline and create a lot of goals.
"We've got to try and improve his goal input but it's one of those - you sometimes get told to play in a certain way.
"I'll try to get him to play the way I want him to play."
