York City manager Martin Foyle is hoping that last season's semi-finalists can get another run going in this season's FA Trophy.
City travel to fellow Blue Square Premier side Northwich Victoria looking to progress in the competition.
And Foyle told BBC Radio York: "Let's go and have a cup run. You have the chance of getting near a final.
"The finances come with it. It's nice to get away from the league, a nice one for the club to go and do something."
York were beaten 2-1 by eventual runners-up Torquay United over two legs in last year's semi.
"They weren't far away before," said Foyle, "so why not again?
"It's a tricky one going to Northwich but it's a good one.
"And away from home I think we're a little bit more confident than what we are at home."
York will be missing loan striker Adam Smith who is cup-tied and Bruce Dyer who has a hamstring injury. However both Michael Ingham and Simon Russell are fit.
Northwich are bottom of Blue Square Premier but Foyle says that will not mean much.
"It's not top versus bottom," he said. "We're down there too probably because of the fact we've drawn so many games. But any team in this league can turn anybody over.
"It's about us, our application and how we're going to approach the game. And hopefully if I get that same enthusiasm as on Tuesday night then I can't see a problem."
