Ebbsfleet manager Liam Daish said he was rendered almost speechless by his team's FA Trophy semi-final win.
"It's hard to put into words their achievement. They've shown amazing character to put us into dreamland," Daish told BBC Radio Kent.
Fleet's 1-1 draw with Aldershot in the second leg meant a 4-2 aggregate win.
"It makes worthwhile all those days of training, me coming in after defeats with a face like thunder. I've got the utmost admiration for them," he added.
Michael Bostwick's last-minute goal sealed the victory for Ebbsfleet at Aldershot Town. On the day it was the equaliser, but Fleet already held a 3-1 advantage from the first leg.
United will now take on Torquay in the final at Wembley on Saturday 10 May.
The Gulls beat York City 2-1 on aggregate in the other semi-final.
