Beadle made three first-team appearances for York last season

York City midfielder Jimmy Beadle has joined Unibond Premier club Whitby Town on loan for a month.

However the 20-year-old has not been given permission to play for Whitby in FA Cup fixtures.

The Scarborough-born player was an unused substitute at Northwich last week but he has not been involved in any other match so far this season.

Beadle joined York last November following a spell in Norway after he started his career with Scarborough.
