Free-agent striker Luke Rodgers hopes to stay in League One following his departure from Yeovil.
The 27-year-old, who is currently on holiday in Portugal, scored three goals in 10 starts for the Glovers after joining from Port Vale in January
He told BBC Sport he has had interest from Leyton Orient and Brighton, where Russell Slade - the man who signed him for Yeovil - is now in charge.
But Rodgers wants to remain closer to his home in Birmingham.
Rodgers began his career with Shrewsbury Town before stints with Crewe and Port Vale.
He has scored 105 goals in 331 senior appearances.
