Harrold netted five times during his Southend career

Wycombe Wanderers have completed the signing of Southend United striker Matt Harrold for a five-figure fee.

The 24-year-old, who was put on the transfer list by the Blues in the summer, has agreed a two-year contract with the Chairboys.

"I've seen Matt play a lot of times for Southend and I really like him," boss Peter Taylor told the club's website.

"He's got a lot of quality and all the things you want from a big striker, so I'm really pleased to have signed him."
