Wycombe chief executive Simon Monkham is delighted with the district council's decision to allow rugby union outfit Wasps to share Adams Park.

The council confirmed they will allow the Zurich Premiership club to use the ground provided the two parties can put forward an agreed `green transport plan' to reduce traffic.

"This is the best news we could have possibly had," Monkham told the club's official website.

"The ground-sharing agreement will be nothing but good for everyone involved."
