Wolves goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey says he is relishing the challenge of keeping Matt Murray out of the first team at Molineux.
Former England under-21 keeper Murray is looking to bounce back after losing a year to a knee injury.
"The fans love Matt and he's been fantastic for Wolves so it is a bit of added pressure on my back," Hennessey told the club's website.
"But that's what you need to keep you on your toes," he added.
Hennessey has established himself as John Toshack's first choice in the Welsh international set-up, but will face genuine competition at Molineux from Murray and promising third-choice keeper Carl Ikeme.
"Hopefully I can go into the season and keep the number one shirt, but I know I'll have to keep working because Matt Murray wants the shirt as much as I do," Hennessey noted.
"If I'm playing I know Matt will me giving me advice and if he's playing I'll do the same.
"It's important for another keeper to tell you if you're doing something wrong or if they've played against a particular team before to give you tips."
