Woking players warned

Woking boss Geoff Chapple
Chapple says this is the worst run in his career

Woking boss Geoff Chapple has warned his players he may be forced to make changes if they cannot overcome their current run of poor form.

Woking were beaten 4-0 by Yeovil on Monday and have now lost their last six Conference games.

Chapple believes the problem lies on the lack of mental strength his players are showing but hopes they can end their bad run this Saturday at home to Stevenage.

"We have a problem when the first goal goes in against us in that the white flag comes out," Chapple told BBC Sport Online.

"Sooner or late it becomes habit forming."

"We have lost six games and I have never known anything like it before in my 27 years of management.

"It is a mental thing but soon it will become a personnel thing."

He added: "My job is to try and keep spirits up. I have a good set of lads but they needs to start putting a bit more in and going that extra yard."
