Cox scored 47 goals in 88 games during his time at Swindon
Former Swindon striker Simon Cox admits it will be strange facing his old team-mates at the County Ground on Tuesday.
Having sold the 22-year-old to West Brom, the Town take on the Championship side in a pre-season friendly.
Cox told BBC Wiltshire: "It's going to be really weird because I've never really been in the away dressing room.
"I look at Swindon as my first club, although I was at Reading I never really played there, Swindon was where I learned how to play League football."
Swindon are still looking for a replacement for the man who scored 32 times for them last season, and are likely to include trialist Berlin Ndebe-Nlome in their squad.
