Curran has scored one goal in eight starts for Rovers this season
Tranmere Rovers striker Craig Curran believes his side have the mental strength to get themselves out of the relegation zone in League One.
Rovers face Brighton on Saturday after a 1-0 defeat by Stockport on Monday.
"We've just go to keep going and stand up and show our characters," Curran told BBC Radio Merseyside.
"We have to come out stronger against Brighton on Saturday - and we will do. It looks positive in training and the lads seem positive as well."
The 20-year-old says the club is in the right hands with caretaker manager Les Parry, after he took temporary control from John Barnes last Friday.
He said: "Everyone including myself respects Les as a person or a manager, and I think that's why everyone wants to push on and do well for him as well as ourselves.
"He's straight forward and tells us how it is, which I think is the right way. He's straight with us and I like the way he wants us to play.
