Torquay boss Paul Buckle has said he will not rush the return of striker Elliot Benyon until he completely recovers from a knee injury.
Benyon, who has scored three times for the Gulls this term, missed Saturday's 0-0 draw with Accrington Stanley.
Buckle told BBC Devon: "Elliot's been battling through the injury, but we had to take him out.
"I can't afford to lose him for a long period of time, so we're going to try and get the knee right."
He added: "Elliot's someone that needs to be 100% fit to get the best out of him because he makes runs and he can be a right nuisance.
"I've always been like that if someone's not quite right - let's take him off and get him right and it's an opportunity for somebody else."
