Torquay United boss Paul Buckle has said he has taken his players back to basics in an effort to arrest their slide down the League Two table.
The Gulls are currently perched just above the drop zone after only taking six points from eight games.
"None of us like losing - we like winning," Buckle told BBC Radio Devon.
"This week we've been trying to play to our strengths, play to people's strengths and whoever is in the team, rather than trying to play a set way."
Torquay's last league win came away at Burton Albion on 18 August, with five defeats following on from then.
Buckle said: "We've come into the league and found it very difficult to find results of late and it's up to us to turn it round, and we will turn it round.
"We must not stop believing, but what we've got to do is switch on now."
On Saturday, Buckle takes his ranks to Macclesfield, who themselves are also struggling for form.
The Silkmen are one place below the Gulls on goal difference and also without a win since 18 August.
"We've had a good look at the league now and come Saturday we've got go up there and fight and play on the back of that," Buckle added.
