Swindon Town have recalled midfielder Michael Timlin from his loan spell at Southend United.
The Blues initially signed the 25-year-old on a month-long deal in September and extended the deal by a further month on 18 October.
However, injuries have depleted the Robins' midfield ranks, leading manager Danny Wilson to call the former Fulham trainee back to the County Ground.
Timlin goes straight into the squad for Saturday's FA Cup tie against Plymouth.
