McGovern came off the bench against Yeovil on Saturday to earn a point

Swindon Town midfielder Jon-Paul McGovern says he is not worried about the side's current league position.

Danny Wilson's side have won just once in their last six league games and sit just one point above the drop zone.

"It's not a concern and it would be great to go on a run like we did last season but we haven't so we have to deal with it," said McGovern.

"Obviously we would rather be where Brighton are right now but we're only a couple of points off the play-offs."

The 30-year-old continued: "We need to focus on the positives, relegation will take care of itself.

"I think you'll find most seasons it's after Christmas when you get to see who is going to be where."
