Swindon have signed Leeds defender Alan Sheehan and Bolton striker Danny Ward on loan.
The pair go straight into the squad for Saturday's FA Cup second round tie away to Wrexham.
Sheehan, 23, has already been out on loan to Oldham this season and has agreed a deal which will keep him at the County Ground until 4 January.
Ward, 17, who joins for a month, has made two substitute appearances for Bolton this season.
Irishman Sheehan said: "I think it's important for me to get out and play games.

"It's very exciting because it's a team on the up. The manager has laid down the law by signing really good players here.
"I chat to Jonathan Douglas quite often, he's a mate of mine from Leeds. He told me that it's very good down here."
