| Wednesday, 5 February, 2003, 16:57 GMT Hoekstra's Chelsea fear Stoke winger Peter Hoekstra could miss out on his side's FA Cup clash against Chelsea after picking up his fifth booking of the season. Hoekstra was yellow-carded in his side's 2-2 draw against Norwich on Saturday and will now have to serve a one-match ban. The Football Association have still to confirm the ban but it appears that the Dutchman will miss the FA Cup game. "It will be a blow to lose someone in Peter's current form, and especially for a game like that because I think it would be one for him to relish," Stoke manager Tony Pulis told the club website. "But we have youngsters waiting by and it is up to whoever we pick to take their chance on one of our biggest stages of the season." Lee Mills, who played for Coventry in a previous round, and on-loan youngster Frazer Richardson, whose club Leeds do not want him cup-tied, will also miss out. |
