Southport have signed former Everton trainee John Paul Kissock on a non-contract basis.
The 21-year-old midfielder, who has been playing in the Vodkat League with Formby Town, was released by the Blues in 2009.
Kissok has had two spells in the SPL with Gretna, were he played 11 times, and Hamilton, while he had two loan spells with Accrington Stanley.
Further contract negotiations are planned in the new year.
