Mason failed to establish himself in the Hamilton first-team

Hamilton Accies have agreed to terminate the contract of John Paul Kissock just three-and-a-half months after he arrived from Everton.

The 20-year-old is the second midfielder released by the Accies this week, following the departure of former St Mirren player Gary Mason.

Kissock played in Hamilton's opening three games of the season but has not featured since.

Mason turned out made just five times under manager Billy Reid.

Accies have since signed former Hibernian and Coventry midfielder Guillaume Beuzelin, while captain Alex Neil has returned to fitness.
