Southend's Moussa backs Shrimpers to escape the drop
Franck Moussa has already been capped by Belgium Under 18s
Southend United midfielder Franck Moussa is adamant the Shrimpers can still avoid relegation.
United are currently four points from safety with just 10 matches left.
The 20-year-old Belgian told BBC Essex: "We're all trying to stick together and make sure we turn this into a decent season."
Moussa scored Southend's opener in their 2-2 draw with Carlisle United on Saturday. It was his third strike of the season.
The young midfielder said: "It was obviously nice to score, but looking at the game we conceded two early goals which didn't help."
We have to say thanks to the supporters who pushed us towards the end of the game

"We showed some good spirit to come back into the game. Then it was just a case of finding that third goal to give us all three points. Unfortunately we didn't get it."
Moussa thanked the fans for their vocal support at the weekend.
"We have to say thanks to the supporters who pushed us towards the end of the game," he said.
"The position we're in in the table, we're going to need them to be behind us in every single game.
"Whatever the situation is, we're always going to need them because they have to be the 12th man now," he added.
Southend United are now preparing for a vital League One match at home to Walsall.
The Shrimpers midfielder said: "The situation we're in, we need the three points. If we can show the same spirit we showed against Carlisle, it will definitely be an interesting game and hopefully we can get all three points."
