Sheffield United boss Blackwell rules out Nosworthy bid
Nosworthy is contracted at Sunderland until 2012
Sheffield United manager Kevin Blackwell has ruled out a move for former loanee Nyron Nosworthy.
The Sunderland defender joined the Blades on loan in February and made 19 appearances before returning to the north-east at the end of the season.
"At this moment in time the finance will be too great for us to do a deal," Blackwell told BBC Radio Sheffield.
"It would have been a big signing but at this moment in time he is probably out of our reach."
He added: "There is no doubt that Nyron was well respected during his time here, not just by the players and staff, but also by the fans, which is important."
