Promotion-chasing Scunthorpe United have signed Liam Trotter and Joseph Mills on one-month loan deals.
Ipswich midfielder Trotter, 19, has joined the Iron after a successful trial, he has already played 16 games for Lincolnshire rivals Grimsby Town.
Defender Mills, also 19, has joined from Southampton after impressing Scunthorpe boss Nigel Adkins.
Adkins told BBC Look North: "He's a young hungry player with a good size about him and twenty years of age."
He added: "He's already played in the Championship this year so he's got a calibre to play."
Mills was signed as the team travelled to Southend United for Tuesday's game and met up with his new team-mates as they arrived in Essex.
