Forte scored four goals in as many games for the Magpies last year
Notts County have re-signed Scunthorpe striker Jonathon Forte on loan.
Forte, 22, spent time on loan at Meadow Lane earlier in the season and scored four goals during an impressive spell.
He was recalled because of an injury crisis and boss Ian McParland told BBC Radio Nottingham it was a "massive boost" to get him for another month.
McParland said: "We've been looking for a striker to freshen it up and to get a lift for us and the supporters and we managed to get the one we wanted."
Forte said: "I scored a hat-trick and another goal here so I'm very happy to be back and the staff are class."
The former Sheffield United youngster played twice for the Iron in January after his recall.
