Rampant Nottingham ran in 13 tries on their way to racking up a club record 95-5 home victory over lowly Otley in National One on Sunday.

The Green and Whites dominated from kick-off at Meadow Lane, 10 different players getting on the scoresheet.

Craig Hammond, Dan Montagu and Rohaan Nirmalendran crossed for two tries apiece, while Tim Taylor slotted nine of the 12 conversions added.

Nottingham face second-placed Exeter Chiefs at Meadow Lane on Sunday.

The following week, Glenn Delaney's side play host to National One leaders Leeds Carnegie in the National Trophy semi-finals.

Exeter and Leeds will obviously be a different story but we are full of confidence

Adam Corcoran

And Adam Corcoran, who marked his return to the side for the first time since 2006 with the second try, said the performance was a good way to warm up for tougher tests ahead.

"We played really well in the first 20 minutes and blew them away," Corcoran said.

"It was nice to get over the try line, I haven't done that for Nottingham for a while, but I spotted a gap and barged over.

"At half-time we said that if we had the same intensity we could really put them to the sword and the boys were on fire during the second half running them in from all over the field.

"Exeter and Leeds will obviously be a different story but we are full of confidence and really looking forward to the challenge ahead."

Corcoran has been out on loan this term having previously spent a year in Italy but is glad to have returned a such a key moment in the club's season.

"It was awesome to be back out there at Meadow Lane in front of such a noisy crowd," he said.

"I have been out on loan at Dunstabilians this season getting some game time after my year in Italy but I was delighted when Glenn gave me a call to say that he wanted me back from the loan period for the run in to the end of the season.

"It is a really exciting time to be a part of the squad."
