Delaney says the next two league games are must-win |
Nottingham director of rugby Glenn Delaney thinks Sunday's match against Otley will be perfect preparation for the National Trophy semi-final. The Green & Whites face Leeds Carnegie in their semi-final due to be played on 22 March. Delaney told BBC Radio Nottingham: "Otley, Exeter and Leeds are three big games at home. "They will give us something to really get excited for as we get to the business end of the season." Delaney added: "We'll be approaching the two league games in between as must-win anyway." New second row signing Ian Nimmo is expected to make his debut on Sunday. Hooker Alex Loney and scrum half Tim Usasz will both return from injury. The match will also see utility back Ben Thompson make his 114th appearance for the Green & Whites, which will put him in the top-10 list of most capped players.
