Marriott made almost 400 appearances for Lincoln City

Rushden & Diamonds have completed the signing of experienced goalkeeper Alan Marriott on a two-year contract.

The 29-year-old was released by Lincoln at the end of last season after nine years at Sincil Bank.

Rushden boss Garry Hill told the club website: "Alan has a wealth of experience in the Football League.

"He has been a big part of Lincoln City's promotion push over the last few seasons - he will no doubt prove to be a massive asset here at Nene Park."
