Queen of the South have signed former Aberdeen and Hearts midfielder Neil MacFarlane on a two-year contract. The 29-year-old had his contract terminated by First Division champions Gretna halfway through a two-year deal at Raydale Park.
MacFarlane made only eight appearances during an injury-hit season.
Several clubs had reported interest in the midfielder, who also played for Queen's Park, Kilmarnock, Airdrieonians, Hearts and Aberdeen.
