 Neil MacFarlane made just eight appearances for Gretna |
First Division champions Gretna have parted company with former Hearts midfielder Neil MacFarlane halfway through his two-year contract. The 29-year-old joined from Aberdeen last summer, but he made only eight appearances as injury limited his chances at Raydale Park.
MacFarlane, who began his career at Queen's Park, went on to play for Kilmarnock, Airdrieonians and Hearts.
He was a regular at Tynecastle but made only six appearances for Aberdeen.
MacFarlane spent just six months at Pittodrie before moving on to Gretna.
