 Murray Henderson was at Palmerston for a season |
Second Division Ayr United have signed Murray Henderson after the defender left Queen of the South. Henderson made 19 appearances for the Doonhamers this season as they avoided relegation from Division One.
The 26-year-old had previously made more than 100 appearances for Stranraer, with whom he was captain.
Henderson joins former Stranraer manager Neil Watt and two other former Stair Park players - David Hamilton and Michael Moore - at Somerset Park.
