Haldane has scored once in 12 appearances for Port Vale
Bristol Rovers striker Lewis Haldane has extended his loan spell at League Two side Port Vale for a third month.
The 24-year-old has impressed since joining the Valiants on 1 September.
Vale manager Micky Adams told BBC Radio Stoke: "Lewis has got the ingredient that can hurt teams at this level, which is real pace.
"I still think he can get better and I still think he needs to be a little bit more selfish, but he's always a threat and we're happy with him."
Haldane, who has scored one goal in 12 games for Vale, was more than happy to stay in the Potteries.
"I've settled in nicely and I'm playing every game," he said. "Hopefully we can get a few more results if we carry on performing like we are.
"I just need to get a goal now. I've hit the post in each of the last three games so hopefully I can score next week."
While Haldane, who has been given permission to play in the Valiants' FA Cup tie with Stevenage on Saturday, will stay at Vale Park until the end of November, left-back Damien McCrory will return to Plymouth after a two-month loan spell.
"There's a new coaching staff at Plymouth and he wants to go back there to try and earn himself a new contract down there," added Adams.
"We thank Damien for all that he's done at the football club and we wish him well."
