Haldane has scored one goal in five starts for Vale
On-loan Port Vale forward Lewis Haldane has said he would welcome a permanent move to Vale Park.
The 24-year-old is in his second month on loan from League One side Bristol Rovers but admitted his future at the Memorial Stadium looked bleak.
He told BBC Radio Stoke: "I don't think Rovers want me, so I'd like to move away and hopefully sign here."
The former Wales Under-21 international spent last season playing in the Blue Square Premier with Oxford United.
Haldane said his move to Vale Park had rejuvenated his career and he admitted he was enjoying playing under manager Micky Adams.
"For the first few games I was coming off the bench, but I'm starting now and I'm getting my sharpness back," he said.
"I know I can do it in the division, I've done it before.
"There's a good team spirit here. All the boys have been brilliant welcoming me and Micky's been great. Everyone here wants everyone else to do well, it's all about the team."
