Port Vale have completed the signing of left-back Damien McCrory from Plymouth Argyle on loan for a month.
The Republic of Ireland Under-19 international spent three months on loan at Vale Park last season, making 12 appearances for the League Two side.
McCrory told BBC Radio Stoke: "I wasn't getting any games at Plymouth and I wanted to go out and get some games.
"My agent was looking around for somewhere for me to go out on loan and I was happy to come back here."
McCrory added: "There have been a lot of changes since I was last here. It seems a lot tougher but it's only for the better."

The 19-year-old is eligible to play in the Carling Cup second-round tie against Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday evening.
He was an unused substitute for Plymouth in their first round victory over Gillingham.
The Championship side will be paying McCrory's wages for the duration of the loan deal.
Meanwhile, Vale have taken former Huddersfield midfielder Malvin Kamara and Bristol Rovers' transfer-listed striker Lewis Haldane on trial.
