Jones scored his second goal of the season against Hereford on Saturday
Crewe captain Billy Jones says that the Alex have nothing to fear from any team in League Two.
After losing their opening game, they have won three in a row, including a 1-0 victory over Hereford on Saturday.
"I don't think that in any of our games, any of the teams we've played have troubled us a lot," the left-back told BBC Radio Stoke.
"We had a really tough pre-season. You can see how fit we all are and we'll keep going right to the end."
The former Exeter defender added: "It's nice for people around the ground to talk about promotion, but we're just going to take each game at a time, and our next one is Bournemouth."
Jones netted the winning goal against Hereford, following up to score after his initial penalty kick had been saved by Bulls goalkeeper Adam Bartlett.
"It came off my nose in the end which was a bit lucky," said Jones. "I was more disappointed that I missed the penalty and I didn't really have much of a celebration.
"But it was the winning goal and that's all that matters."
Gudjon Thordarson's team are third in League Two with nine points, the same total as top two Notts County and Dagenham and Redbridge.
