Collins is on a six-month loan with Port Vale from Wolves

Port Vale's on-loan defender Lee Collins has said they will only climb the League Two table if they can make fewer mistakes in defence.

The Valiants have endured a mixed start to the season and currently lie 12th in the bottom tier of League football.

Collins told BBC Radio Stoke: "We're making schoolboy errors, we can't keep conceding sloppy goals.

"Set-pieces are crucial moments in games, you have to defend them well and we're not doing that at the moment."
