Sinnott's Vale side have won two of their opening five games
Manager Lee Sinnott says he can understand the frustration of the Port Vale fans following the club's mixed start to the season.
Vale have sold over 6,000 season tickets, but have lost two of their opening three home league games.
Sinnott told BBC Radio Stoke: "The fans have got their own eyes so I can't come out and contradict what they've seen.
"Myself and the players take what the fans have to say on board and we move forward from there."
The former Farsley Celtic manager attended a fans forum immediately after Saturday's 2-0 defeat by Bradford City and says he was happy to listen to the views of the supporters.
"The fans are the people that we have to please, following the defeat it would have been easy to duck out of it [the fans forum], but I'm not the sort of man to do that."
Sinnott also said it was a good opportunity to explain some of his decisions to the Vale faithful.
"If I give my opinion as to why a decision has been made then at least the fans have an insight.
"I wouldn't expect the supporters to always agree with me and I don't always agree with their opinions, but so long as you respect those opinions then we won't have a problem."
