Mariner pleased with transfer deals
Plymouth boss Paul Mariner has spoken of his excitement at the arrival Kenny Cooper and Damien Johnson at Home Park.
Cooper and Johnson signed for Argyle shortly before the close of the January transfer window on Monday.
"We were cautious, you can panic in the transfer window, but we concentrated on the players we wanted," Mariner told BBC Spotlight.
"The two players that we've got were at the top of our list so we are very excited about it."
Plymouth completed the loan deal for USA international striker Cooper, 25, from 1860 Munich, which will keep the former Manchester United trainee at Home Park until the end of the season.

"He [Cooper] is extremely concentrated on the game and knows exactly what he wants.
"He looks after himself and is a bit of a physical specimen so everything points to a successful career for him."
Plymouth subsequently swooped to secure the signature of 31-year-old Johnson from Premier League side Birmingham City on a two-and-a-half-year deal.
The defender has 56 caps for Northern Ireland as well as making 214 appearances during his time at St Andrew's.
"He dispelled many myths that people don't want to come to Plymouth Argyle," said Mariner.
"It's an incredible signing for this club and has probably sent a few shockwaves around football that a player of his ilk has decided to come to Plymouth."
With several players including Steve MacLean, Jim Paterson and Alan Gow all leaving Home Park during the transfer window, Mariner is hopeful his new arrival's will quickly fit in.
"It's very important to bring in the right people into the group, because the group at the moment as far as team spirit is concerned is flying," he said.
"We don't want to disrupt that and with the two players that we've got here today we will enhance it."
