Peterborough United striker Dave Hibbert admits he is having to get used to being a bit-part player this season.
The 24-year-old featured 40 times for Shrewsbury Town last season but has faced a wait for the chance to establish himself at London Road.
He told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "It's definitely the longest, but I'm at a big club with probably the two best strikers in the league ahead of you.
"It is frustrating, but you understand and you want the team to do well."
The front pair of Craig Mackail-Smith and Aaron McLean have kept Hibbert at bay by netting 20 goals between them this season.

In contrast Hibbert has scored just one league goal since joining Posh in the summer, making six league appearances as a substitute.
He also came off the bench for the last eight minutes in Saturday's 1-1 FA Cup draw with Stockport.
"As a sub you've got to come on and make a difference for the team, it was a chance for me and you need to make a bit of an impact," he added.
"You've got to be mentally prepared to come on at any given time."
