Peterborough United manager Darren Ferguson has been given a £750 fine and a suspended two-match touchline ban by the Football Association.
The Posh boss admitted an improper conduct charge for abusive language towards the referee after his side's 3-2 defeat by West Brom in August.
The touchline ban will not be activated unless Ferguson commits any other offences this season.
The disciplinary commission took into account his previous good record.
