Mclean scored 33 goals for Posh last season

Peterborough striker Aaron Mclean has been taken off the transfer list and agreed to sign a new four-year deal.

Mclean, 25, was on the list at his own request following a number of bids from Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers but has now changed his mind.

"I believed at the time this would help me reach my goal of playing at the highest level," he said in a statement.

"I am glad to put outside interferences behind me and concentrate on an exciting season for Posh."
