Oxford United sign Doncaster Rovers' Ryan Burge on loan
Burge played in the Oxford reserves' 2-0 win over Colchester United
Oxford United have signed Doncaster Rovers midfielder Ryan Burge on loan until the end of the season.
Burge, 22, who started his career at Birmingham City, played for Oxford's reserves in their 2-0 win over Colchester United last Wednesday.
"I'm looking forward to my time at Oxford, I've met the manager and know Asa Hall from my time at Birmingham," Burge told the club website.
"I'm ready for the challenge ahead and I hope I can help the team push on."
Burge, who has made just one league appearance since joining Doncaster on a short-term deal in January, is expected to go straight into the squad for the U's clash against Crewe on Saturday.
He has also played for League Two rivals Barnet as well as Japanese club Oita Trinita and Spanish side Jerez Industrial CF - a team made up of Glenn Hoddle's youth academy.
