Oxford United central defender Jake Wright has urged his side not to waste the opportunity to reach the League Two play-offs this season.
Oxford lost 3-1 to Lincoln City on Tuesday to slip two points below the play-off places, in ninth position.
"We can't waste a year and miss this opportunity, not when we know we can do so well," Wright, 24, told BBC Oxford.
"We have to give it everything and if we fall short then at least we know we gave it our all."
The U's face bottom side Stockport on Saturday, knowing a win could put them into seventh place.
"Yesterday we had a talk and had a cool down to prepare right for this game," said the ex-Halifax Town defender.
"Stockport have got something to play for, they need to win because they're fighting for their lives so it will be a difficult game.
"We just need to make sure that we have something to play for at the end of the season."
