Lincoln City won their first game in four as two second-half own goals hurt Oxford United's play-off bid.
The Imps led when Josh O'Keefe hit the post and pounced to score the rebound from close range before team-mate Ashley Grimes fired just wide.
Steven MacLean levelled up after Trevor Carson fumbled Tom Craddock's shot.
But Harry Worley scored an own goal as he tried to keep Delroy Facey's effort out and then Anthony Tonkin deflected Mustapha Carayol's cross in.
Lincoln City manager Steve Tilson told BBC Lincolnshire: "It was a big win for us, a really good three points because it was a tough game and Oxford are a good side. I thought they passed the ball really well and that made the win even better.
"Mustapha (Carayol)'s been out for a while and I still think he needs to get fitter, but he's got so much ability and if he is fully fit he could rip this league up. He created two goals and had a really good night.
"We weren't at our best tonight, I'm not going to try and kid anybody, but you get these games where you have to dig in and grind a result out and that's what we've done."
