Oxford United have extended the loan spell of Doncaster midfielder Josh Payne until January 2011.
The 19-year-old has impressed manager Chris Wilder at the Kassam Stadium since arriving on 31 August, playing six times.
Wilder said: "Josh has done great for us. He has fitted in well.
"Doncaster see it as a way for him to gain valuable experience and we are happy to have him here. He is a popular lad and has done well for the team."
Payne featured once for Rovers since signing a six-month deal from West Ham in July.
