Oxford United have signed Aldershot Town striker John Grant on loan until the end of the season.
The 28-year-old scored 25 goals when he last played in the Blue Square Premier - helping the Shots to the 2008 title.
Grant, who played at Halifax under U's boss Chris Wilder, has scored three goals in his last six League Two games.
"Chris Wilder is someone I trust and believe in. He was fantastic with me when I was at Halifax. He is a fantastic guy," Grant told BBC Surrey.
The former Crewe, Northwich, Hereford, Telford and Shrewsbury forward could make his debut against AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday.
Grant has scored in two of his 20 games for the Shots this term, although most of his appearances have been from the bench.

In September, he hinted that he could quit professional football this summer to concentrate on youth work in his native North West.
But when asked whether he could stay at Oxford after this season, he said: "I have to see how I feel come the end of it.
"I might feel a bit differently. I have to go off feelings - if I have a feel to stay, there could be chance.
"But at the moment I'll definitely be going back to Manchester at the end of the season."
