BBC Oxford's breakfast show presenter Malcolm Boyden got a chance to show his skills at an Oxford United training session this week.
The man who spearheaded the "I believe" campaign for the U's promotion push last year was impressed when he joined the players in Chesterton.
"What a fantastic lot they are, the friendliest blokes you will ever come across," said Boyden.
"They are going to do Oxford United proud this season."
Despite his best efforts to impress Chris Wilder, the U's manager says a new talent has not landed on his doorstep.

"I must be living in the wrong house, nothing has landed on my doorstep apart from a few bills," joked Wilder.
"He's been great fun to have around, but I'll have to give him the news that he won't be involved (on Saturday)."
Malcolm Boyden is on-air on BBC Oxford from 0700 BST every weekday morning on 95.2 FM in Oxfordshire.
