Killock has suffered with injuries since joining Oxford United.
Oxford defender Shane Killock has extended his stay at the Kassam Stadium by agreeing a new one-year deal.
The 20-year-old first joined on loan from Huddersfield in January and agreed a short-term deal the next month after he was released by the League One side.
Killock only played three times for Oxford, all in January, before an injury prematurely ended his season.
Meanwhile, United have confirmed that 20-year-old goalkeeper Ben Hinchcliffe will not be offered a new deal.
The former Derby County keeper has struggled to get first-team opportunities because of the form of Billy Turley.
On his deal, Killock told the United website: "I have enjoyed my time and only wanted to sign here.
"I will do everything I can to impress as soon as we come back, and take that into the regular season."
