Killock is a highly-rated prospect at the Kassam Stadium
Oxford United have received a fitness boost after it was revealed that defender Shane Killock is set to return to training after injury.
The 19-year-old has a contract at the Kassam Stadium until the end of the season, but has not played since the 1-0 win over Crawley in January.
"I've come to play some games and get some experience so it's been really frustrating," Killock told BBC Oxford.
"You want to be a part of it and just playing yourself."
He added: "You feel a bit on the side as you aren't in the team. The lads are fine with you but deep down you know you can't have any say what happens on a Saturday."
Killock, who has played three times for Oxford, joined United on loan from Huddersfield in January, before the move was made permanent a month later.
