Guy has had an injury-hampered start to the campaign
Oxford United striker Jamie Guy says he is relishing the opportunity to work with caretaker manager Jim Smith.
Smith's return to the dugout has coincided with a return to form for the on-loan Colchester man, and Guy says his influence is helping him thrive.
"I am happy playing at the moment," said the 21-year-old.
"He is using me to my strengths which is the player that I am. Before I was being used a target man, but I am not a 6ft 5in monster, I like it to feet."
Guy has scored three goals in Smith's three games in charge since Darren Patterson's sacking.
