Jamie Guy scored a first brace for Oxford United as the U's booked their place in the second round of the FA Trophy with a 2-0 win at AFC Sudbury.

Guy's goals either side of half-time broke the determined resistance of the Southern League side.

The striker, on loan from Colchester, joked: "I played youth team football with their entire back four so I knew they had a mistake in them!

"Now it's about scoring more goals and climbing the league table."
